I have been in real estate in one form or another since 1994. I started out in construction — working my way up to job superintendent for a local builder. That hands-on background led to a weekend gig sitting in model homes, which eventually led to getting my license full time.
From there I branched into building on my own and then moved into land development. I have seen this industry from just about every angle — dirt work, framing, closings, and everything in between.
Today my focus is on three areas where that depth of experience really matters: probate and estate sales, senior downsizing, and investment real estate. These are situations where clients need someone who actually knows what they are looking at — not just someone who can schedule a showing.
A little about me
I am a Minnesota guy through and through. Grew up in Plymouth, went to Wayzata High School, and never really had a reason to leave. My son is a Wayzata grad too — he works locally for an HVAC contractor, which keeps the family trade tradition alive in its own way.
When I am not working I am up north at the cabin. Fishing, being outside, keeping it simple. Pretty typical Minnesotan.
I also run a small property management operation — Oak Knoll Properties — which keeps me in tune with the investor side of real estate year round.
